Inground Pool Solar Installation Hardware
Inground pools demand more from every component. Higher flow rates, longer plumbing runs, deeper basins, and collectors sized for larger water volumes put stress on parts that generic hardware can’t handle. That’s why we stock solar panel hardware for inground pools engineered specifically for these conditions.
- Mounting Hardware Roof and ground mounting systems built from corrosion-resistant materials that hold up for 20+ years of outdoor exposure. Proper mounting keeps collectors aligned for optimal sun exposure, prevents leaks at attachment points, and protects against wind uplift. We carry straps, anchors, standoffs, and flashing kits for Custom systems, plus Gator Clamps and fastener packs for ST panels.
- Plumbing Fittings Solar pool plumbing fittings for inground systems need to handle flow rates that above-ground setups never see. We stock PVC Schedule 40 fittings, adapters, unions, and connectors sized for systems running up to 70 GPM. UV-resistant hoses and serviceable unions allow component replacement without cutting into your plumbing.
- Flow Control & Automation Diverter valves, manual or automated, route water to collectors only when heating is beneficial. Stainless steel temperature sensors monitor collector and pool temperatures, feeding data to controllers that manage the system automatically. Our automation components integrate with Pentair, Hayward, and Jandy systems for unified pool control.
- Replacement Collectors If a collector panel is damaged or you want to expand your heating capacity, we stock replacement collectors for both product lines. Custom collectors can be manufactured to your exact length specifications. ST panels are available in three sizes: ST-32, ST-40, and ST-48.

Which Parts Fit Your System?
Solar heating system replacement parts for inground pools are specific to your collector type. Suntrek Custom and ST systems use different mounting hardware, fittings, and connection methods. Before ordering, confirm which system is installed on your roof.
Identifier | Suntrek Custom | Suntrek ST |
Material | Flexible EPDM rubber | Rigid polypropylene |
Appearance | Continuous strips that bend around obstacles | Fixed rectangular panels |
Mounting hardware | Adhesive + straps | Gator Clamps |
Header shape | Round manifold | Hexagon-shaped manifold |
Max pressure | 40 psi | 90 psi |
The easiest way to tell: Custom collectors are flexible black rubber that bends. ST panels are rigid plastic with a distinctive hexagon header.
If you’re still unsure, send us a photo of your rooftop installation. We’ll identify your system and confirm which parts you need before anything ships.
Installation & Support
Suntrek provides support whether you’re handling the repair yourself or want a technician to do the work.
Professional Installation
Our certified technicians handle component sizing, seal installation, pressure testing, and system verification. Most part replacements take 2–4 hours. Services include compatibility verification, safe removal of old components, installation of new parts, system testing, and warranty activation.
Professional installation makes sense for complex repairs, automation upgrades, or any work involving roof-mounted components where safety and proper sealing matter.
DIY Support
For homeowners comfortable with basic repairs, we provide detailed installation guides, diagrams, phone support during installation, and troubleshooting assistance. Many parts, valves, sensors, plumbing fittings, can be swapped without specialized tools or draining your pool.
If you get stuck mid-project, call us. We’ll walk you through it.

FAQs
How do I know which parts I need?
Start by identifying your collector type, Custom (EPDM) or ST (polypropylene). Parts are not interchangeable between the two systems. If you’re unsure what you have or what’s compatible, contact us with your system details and we’ll recommend the right components.
Can I replace parts without shutting down my pool?
Yes. Most components, valves, sensors, fittings, even individual collector panels, can be replaced without draining your pool or interrupting circulation long-term. Our installation guides cover how to isolate sections for quick replacements.
Can I expand my system with additional collectors?
Yes. Both Suntrek product lines are modular. If you want more heating capacity, additional collectors and inground pool solar installation hardware can be added to your existing array without replacing what’s already installed. For expansion planning, schedule a site evaluation.
What if I need a part that isn't listed?
Call us. We stock components beyond what’s shown on this page, and we can source specialty parts when needed. If it exists for Suntrek systems, we can get it.
