The easiest way to get started is to submit a free estimate request at suntreksolar.com/free-quote. Fill out the form with your name, contact details, and a brief description of what you need. A Suntrek representative will follow up to gather more information about your property and system requirements, confirm your location is within the service area, and schedule a site visit or consultation at a time that works for you.

Yes. Suntrek offers free estimates for all solar pool heating, PV solar, battery storage, and solar water heating projects. Submit your request at suntreksolar.com/free-quote and a Suntrek advisor will review your property details and provide a no-obligation proposal.

Payment timing depends on the size of your project. For projects under $10,000, payment is typically not due until the work is complete. For larger projects, payments are structured around milestones, so you pay as the work progresses, not all at once upfront.

We understand that circumstances change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we simply ask that any costs already incurred on our end are covered by the client. We will never pressure you into moving forward with an installation if the timing no longer works for you.

Yes. Suntrek holds the following licenses, certifications, and affiliations. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.

  • Licensing: Licensed Solar Contractor in California, Nevada, and Arizona. California Contractor License No. 859460.
  • Certifications: SRCC Certified (Solar Rating and Certification Corporation). Products tested and approved by FSEC (Florida Solar Energy Center).
  • Industry Associations: CALSEIA (California Solar Energy Industries Association), SEIA (Solar Energy Industries Association), BIA (Building Industry Association), UPA (United Pool Association), APSP (Association of Pool and Spa Professionals), IPSSA (Independent Pool and Spa Service Association), CAI (Community Associations Institute), CACM (California Association of Community Managers), Better Business Bureau, and multiple Chambers of Commerce.

Yes. As both a manufacturer and licensed installer, Suntrek stands behind the equipment and the installation. You are not left managing warranty claims between separate companies. If an issue arises, you call us and we handle it.
Warranty coverage varies by system type. Solar pool heating products carry a 10 to 15-year warranty, and solar electric panels are covered for 25 to 40 years depending on the manufacturer.

Suntrek employs a complete team of professionals in-house and does not outsource installation or service work. Every technician is manufacturer-trained and has installed thousands of systems across California and Nevada. You will never have an unvetted subcontractor working on your property.

Nobody is required to be present, though, it is encouraged. We simply need access to the property.

To help the Suntrek team complete your service efficiently, please:
Ensure clear access to the roof, electrical panel, and pool equipment area before the scheduled arrival time.
If you have pets, secure them away from the work area. Clear any furniture or equipment stored directly below roof access points.

It depends on the scope of work. A standard service call typically takes 1 to 2 hours, leak repairs run 1 to 3 hours, a new solar pool heating installation is usually completed within 1 to 2 days, and a PV solar installation takes anywhere from 1 to 5 days depending on system size. When your appointment is confirmed, we will provide a more specific time window so you know what to expect.
Suntrek technicians perform a thorough assessment before beginning any work. If an unexpected issue is discovered during a service call such as additional damage, code compliance requirements, or equipment needing replacement beyond the original scope, the technician will stop work, explain what was found, and provide a clear explanation of options before proceeding.
Suntrek specializes in solar pool heating, it is what the company was built on and where over 30 years of design, manufacturing, and installation experience is concentrated. Beyond pool heating, Suntrek also provides solar water heating, photovoltaic electricity systems, and battery storage solutions. All systems are custom-designed for residential, commercial, and government projects and installed by Suntrek’s in-house team to meet local codes and integrate with your existing setup.
Solar pool heating eliminates the $100–$500 per month most homeowners spend heating their pool with gas or electricity, with no ongoing fuel cost once the system is installed. For homeowners adding PV solar and battery storage, a correctly sized system offsets 60–90% of total household electricity use, and stored solar discharged during California’s peak evening rate window displaces grid electricity at $0.40–$0.70+ per kWh. Suntrek also walks every customer through available incentives, including the California SGIP rebate and property tax exclusion, to reduce the upfront investment.
The installation process includes site assessment, system design, professional installation, inspection, and integration with your home or building. Every step is carefully planned for safety and efficiency. After installation, we provide ongoing maintenance and monitoring, ensuring your system continues to operate at peak performance for years.

Yes. Businesses with pools, gyms, fitness centers, hotels, community recreation centers, HOAs, and aquatic facilities, are strong candidates for Suntrek’s commercial solar pool heating systems, which eliminate the ongoing gas or electric cost of keeping a commercial pool at temperature year-round.
Beyond pool heating, Suntrek also designs custom PV electricity and battery storage systems for offices, retail, and industrial facilities looking to reduce operating costs and utility dependence. Commercial clients can access federal and state tax incentives, rebates, and financing options that accelerate return on investment.

Yes. We have experience delivering large-scale solar projects for government facilities, including schools, municipal buildings, and public utilities, supported by a $10 million bonding capacity.
Our team handles project management, permitting, and compliance, ensuring energy solutions meet strict government standards while lowering operational costs.

Suntrek offers flexible financing options including leases, loans, and same-as-cash plans for solar pool heating, PV electricity, and battery storage systems. These are structured so monthly payments align with your energy savings, meaning many customers see a net-positive cash flow from day one. Financing is available for homeowners, businesses, and government institutions  to 25 year terms with no prepayment penalties that are transferable.

We provide comprehensive maintenance, including inspections, cleaning, repairs, component replacement, and seasonal preparation for all solar systems.
Regular upkeep ensures maximum performance and longevity, helping you avoid downtime and maintain consistent energy production.

Installation timelines vary depending on system size and complexity. Residential systems are often completed 1-2 days, while larger commercial or government projects may take longer. We coordinate inspections and interconnections to ensure your system becomes operational as quickly as possible, minimizing delays and maximizing energy production.
Suntrek has been doing this since 1991. That’s over 30,000 installations across California, Nevada, and beyond. We work with homeowners, HOAs, hotels, aquatic centers, schools, and government facilities, so no matter what your project looks like, we’ve likely done something similar. And with hundreds of dealers across North America, there’s always someone nearby to help with service, questions, or ongoing support.

Yes. We offer hybrid solar systems that combine PV panels with battery storage to store excess energy for use when the sun isn’t shining.
These systems help maximize energy independence, reduce utility costs, and provide backup power during outages, tailored to your home, business, or government facility.

Our solar systems reduce greenhouse gas emissions by generating clean, renewable energy that offsets reliance on fossil fuels.
By choosing solar, you contribute to sustainability goals, lower your carbon footprint, and support long-term environmental protection while saving on energy costs.

Solar pool heating systems from Suntrek start at $4,800 for smaller installations and typically range from $6,000 to $12,000 for a 400 sq ft system, all in, including equipment, parts, and labor. The 30% federal tax credit applies to the full project cost, and all solar pool heating systems are exempt from California property tax. Operating costs after installation are near zero since the system runs on your existing pool pump with no additional fuel. Gas pool heating, by comparison, typically costs $200–$400 per month during swim season.
